National Fluid Power Association
Sun Hydraulics is proud to be a long-standing member of NFPA, the fluid power industry trade association in North America. NFPA is engaged in activities including research projects, standards development and workforce development, along with other initiatives that will help advance the art and science of fluid power.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers
Sun companies worldwide regularly support academic organizations and conferences focused on fluid power, including ASME’s Fluid Power Systems & Technology Division (FPST). The ASME Robert E. Koski Medal is awarded each year to an individual who has advanced the art and practice of fluid power motion and contol through education and/or innovation.
British Fluid Power Association
Sun Hydraulics Limited is also proud to be a long-standing member of the British Fluid Power Association, BFPA. BFPA represents hydraulic and pneumatic businesses commercially and technically throughout the UK and is a full service trade association.
Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.
Sunhydraulik GmbH is a member of VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.). The fluid power sector represents 133 members and is the most important organization of the German fluid power industry. As a member of the Fluidpower research fund (Forschungsfonds Fluidtechnik), Sunhydraulik supports joint projects of the industry that also help students at Universities.
