The DFDB in normally open and normally closed versions is going to be replaced by the new DFDJ, which uses the same cavity and offers the same functionality. The new valve also features a new high-reliability design with zinc-nickel coating as standard.  You should use the new DFDJ for any designs or applications going forward and should transition any solutions using the DFDB to the new valve.
